A carrot is thought to be a vegetable and maybe even a fruit. It is probably some kind of root beer.

There seems to be a Facebook Group proposing that "On May 15th 2008, everybody needs to go out and panic buy CARROTS." This is obviously an evil plot by the Vegetarian Industrial Complex. Pilates, whatever they are. Also acupuncture.

There, I've exposed the big conspiracy. All of these companies and services have a similar target demographic. And while I have nothing against smoothies, efficient energy use, or even vegetarians, it's important to remember that there may be some sort of capitalist conspiracy at work behind the scenes. Now it has a name.

The Vegetarian Industrial Complex uses large corporate chains such as Jamba Juice and small local vendors such as Blenders in the Grass and Sojourner Cafe to distribute bad things in the form of smoothies to the general populance.

Some smoothies of interest include:

The Pi�a Colada sold by Blenders in the Grass and also Jamba Juice with added banana and a strange spelling
The Caribbean Carrot Pineapple sold by the Sojourner Cafe
